There are many different opinions when it comes to the link of video games and violence, some believe violent video games encourage violence, others believe it is down to mental instability. One famous occurrence where violence seemed to be linked to violent video games was of course the Columbine High School Massacre, Brown 1999, stated that both killers where addicted to the violent video games Doom and Quake, which may have influenced them.
However Cullen 2004 reached a different conclusion of this massacre. He states that if it had been out of revenge then they would have targeted the people they would want revenge from, instead the columbines killers dreams was to create a nightmare so devastating that people all around the world would shudder in fear.
So do violent video games really influence people to perform acts of violence or does it depend entirely on the mental health of the person and the situation they are in.

VARK Questionaire
Below are my results for the VARK Questionaire:
Visual = 5
Aural = 3
Read/Write = 10
Kinesthetic = 2
I only partly agree with these results as i think that it entirely depends on the situation at hand. For example i dont think reading and writing would be much help with sports as the main point of the sports is mostly practical.
Im not really suprised that Visual is my second strongest method of learning because i like using diagrams or images to explain my work.
I personally feel that Visual, Aural and Reading/Writing should be roughly the same because i easily use these three methods the most, as they all have there good points.
